Apricot Layer Bars

Ingredients

  • 1 3/4 quick-cooking oats, uncooked
  • 1 3/4 cup flour
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 12-oz. jar apricot preserves

Preparation

Step 1

Mix together oats, flour, brown sugar, butter and salt. Press half of mixture into a greased 8 inch x 8 inch baking pan. Spread preserves over the top; top with remaining oat mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes. Let cool; cut into squares. Makes 1 to 1/2 dozen.
