Philly style vanilla ice cream

Ingredients

  • 2 c milk
  • 1 c turbinado sugar
  • 2 c cream
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla bean paste
  • 1/2 tsp ice cream stabilizer (optional)

Preparation

Step 1

Combine milk and sugar in a saucepan and boil. Turn off heat and stir to dissolve sugar. Add the cold cream and salt and vanilla paste. Freeze in ice cream machine.
