Asparagus Casserole

  • 1 large can asparagus, drained(save juice)
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 4 hard boiled eggs
  • 3/4 lb. American cheese, sharp
  • 12 saltine crackers
  • 1 cup milk

Preparation

Step 1

Grate the cheese and chop the eggs with a potato masher. Set aside in a bowl. Crumble 3-4 crackers in the bottom of a greased casserole. Put a layer of cheese and chopped eggs, layer of asparagus, layer of soup, and layer of crackers: repeat. Dot well with butter and add milk to which 3 tbsps. asparagus juice has been added. Top with extra crumbs and bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes.
