Ingredients
- 1 cup Slivered almonds
- 1/4 cup Sugar
- Romaine
- Iceberg
- Red Wine Vinegar
- Mandarin Oranges
- Chopped Green Onions
Preparation
Step 1
Put almonds into skillet with sugar and heat until coated, then spread onto baking sheet to cool
Drain mandarin oranges and put in fridge to cool
1/4 cup sugar
1 cup veg. oil
1/4 cup red wine vinegar
pinch salt and pepper
1/4 tsp cayenne
1 Tblsp chopped parsley
Mix together for dressing
Tear iceberg and romaine lettuce and add chopped green onions
Toss with dressing
Add Mandarin oranges and almonds
