Sticky Pecan Buns (using biscuit dough)

  • Topping:
  • 3 Tbsp butter
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup pecans
  • Filling:
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • Can of refrigerator biscuits

Preparation

Step 1

In a bowl microwave 3 Tbsp. butter on high for one minute. Stir in 1/3 cup brown sugar and heat for another minute. Stir in 3/4 cup pecans, chopped; spread in 8 inch cake pan. Mix 1/4 cup brown sugar and 1/4 tsp cinnamon. With your hands flatten biscuits to 1/8 inch; spread heaping tsp cinnamon sugar in center of biscuit. Roll tightly; slice in half. Place cut side down in pan. Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until golden. Invert onto plate; serve warm. Makes about 16.
