Beef Goulash

Ingredients

  • 2 lb extra lean ground beef
  • 2 cups chopped onion
  • 1 cup chopped red bell pepper (about one medium)
  • 1 cup sliced carrots
  • 1 tsp crushed garlic
  • 1/3 cup catsup
  • 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 dashes Tabasco sauce
  • 1 14.5 oz can beef broth
  • 2 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 4 medium potatoes*

Preparation

Step 1

brown the ground beef, chopped onion, and red pepper in a large skillet on medium heat. drain and cool. mix all ingredients together and place in one gallon zip-lock bag. label and freeze.

thaw and put into crock pot. add 4 potatoes peeled and cut. make sure the potatoes are under the liquid. cover and cook on low 4-6 hrs.

Summary of processes:
chop 2 cup onion and 1 cup red bell pepper; slice 1 cup carrots.

Freeze In: 1 gallon freezer bag
Serve with: Italian parsley salad
