- 2 pounds of onions, chopped
Preparation
Step 1
Spread chopped onions onto a cookie sheet. Place in a 150 degree oven. Cook, stirring and turning every ½ hour to ensure even drying. If making more than one sheet at a time, reverse trays after stirring. Most vegetables will take 4 to 12 hours to dry out in the oven. When cooled they should be very crisp.
