Vanilla Rice Pudding

Ingredients

  • 1 egg
  • 1 qt. (4 cups milk)
  • 1 3 oz vanilla flavor cook & serve pudding & pie filling
  • 1 cup instant white rice, uncooked
  • 1/4 cup raisins
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp. nutmeg

Preparation

Step 1

Beat egg and milk with whisk in large saucepan until blended. Add dry pudding mix; beat 2 minutes. Stir in rice and raisins.

Bring to full rolling voil on medium heat, stirring constantly. Cool 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Pour into 10 dessert dishes or 1 1/2 qt. serving bowl. Sprinkle with spices.
