Russian Tea Cakes

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Butter
  • 1/2 cup Sifted Confectioners Sugar
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 2 1/4 cups Sifted Flour
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 3/4 cups Finely Chopped Nuts
  • Confectioners Sugar

Preparation

Step 1

Mix butter, confectioners sugar and vanilla. Sift together flour and salt and add to mixture. Mix in the nuts. Roll into 1" balls. Place on an un-greased cookie sheet. Bake at 400 degrees until set, but not brown-about 10 minutes. While still warm, roll in confectioners sugar. Cool, roll in sugar again.
