Puttanesca Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 28oz can of petite diced tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup chopped Kalamata olives
  • 1 oz chopped capers ( preferred packed in salt )
  • 1 Tbl chopped garlic
  • 4 leaves fresh Basil
  • 1/4 cup Olive oil

Preparation

Step 1

Wash capers to remove salt then chop.
Sauté the capers, olives and garlic in the olive oil for 3 min.
Add the tomatoes and basil then simmer for 20 min…

Add to pasta ….
