Ingredients
- 1 Medium Cabbage, sliced
- 2 Tbs. Butter
- 2 Tbs. Flour
- 1/2 tsp. Salt
- 1/2 Cup Cabbage Water
- 1/2 Cup Milk
- 1/2 Lb. Velveeta Cheese
- 1/4 Cup Bread or Cracker Crumbs
- 1 Tbs. Butter, melted
Preparation
Step 1
Cook cabbage for about 5 minutes. Drain and save 1/2 cup of the cooking water. Make a white sauce of butter, flour and salt; then over heat add the water and milk. Blend well. Add cheese and stir until melted. Combine sauce and cabbage. Put in 9 x 9 inch baking dish. Mix bread crumbs and melted butter and sprinkle over top. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
