Pudding-Date pudding-Vivian Diller

Ingredients

  • Batter: Syrup:
  • 1/2 C Brown sugar 1 C Brown sugar
  • 1 C flour 1 C water
  • 1/2 C milk 1 TBsp butter
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 C chopped dates
  • 1/2 C chopped nuts pecans/walnuts

Preparation

Step 1

Mix batter adding milk and stirring until smooth, then fold in dates and nuts. Make syrup. Pour in greased baking dish. Pour batter on top. Bake at 350 for 35-40 min. Cool and serve with whipped cream.
