Ingredients
- Cobbler crust:
- 1 tbs cornstarch
- 1/4 c brown sugar
- 1/2 cup cold water
- 2 cups fresh sugared sliced peaches
- 1 cup fresh blueberries
- 1 tbs butter
- 1 tbs lemon juice
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup margarine
- Nutmeg Topper:
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 2 tbs sugar
Preparation
Step 1
Mix first three ingredients with fruit. Cook and stir until thick. add butter and lemon juice. Pour in baking dish. Sift dry ingredients; add milk and butter at once. Beat until smooth. Spread over fruit. Sprinkle with nutmeg topping. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Serve with milk or ice cream.
