Ingredients
- 1.5 pounds of flank steak (cut in very thin strips, 2 inches long)
- 4 large green chillies (cut into thin strips, keep the seeds)
- 3/4 tsp sugar
- 3/4 tsp salt (to taste)
- 3/4 tsp black pepper
- 2 tsp soya sauce
- 2 tsp corn flour
- 4 tbsp olive oil
Preparation
Step 1
Marinate meat with corn flour, 1/2 tsp soya sauce, salt and 2 tsp oil for twenty minutes at room temp, mixing often.
Heat 1 tbsp olive oil, add meat and fry for two minutes over HIGH heat.
Remove meat from oil.
Add 1 tbsp oil, fry green chillies until tender, but crisp.
Return meat to pan, with sugar, remaining soya sauce, salt and black pepper.
Fry until well mixed and meat cooked through.
