Chocolate Cake Icing

I use this on the Chocolate Funeral Cake.

Ingredients

  • 1 stick margarine
  • 4 T. cocoa
  • 6 T. milk
  • 4 c. powdered sugar, 1 box
  • 1 t. vanilla extract

Preparation

Step 1

Start icing just before cake is done:

Bring margarine, cocoa and milk to a rapid boil, stirring well.

Pour hot mixture over 1 box of powdered sugar and add vanilla.
Stir well and pour over hot cake.

Pecans can be added to icing or put on top of cake.
