Ingredients
- 3 whole graham crackers, crushed
- 1 ripe banana, sliced
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 3 tablespoons cornstarch
- salt
- 3 cups 2% milk
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
Preparation
Step 1
1.Evenly divide the graham cracker crumbs among 6 custard cups or ramekins. Press the crumbs to cover the bottom of the ramekins. Top with the banana slices, reserving some for garnish.
2.In a large saucepan, mix the sugar, cocoa, cornstarch, and salt. Stir in the milk. Whisk over medium heat for about 4 minutes or until the pudding comes to a boil and thickens.
3.Cook for 1 minute longer. Remove from the heat and stir in the vanilla extract. Pour into the prepared custard cups. Chill for at least 2 hours, or until set.
4.Sprinkle each custard with 1/4 cup chocolate chips and reserved banana slices.
