Ingredients
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 3.5 cups rotini
- 12 oz. broccoli florets, cut small
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 oz. grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 teaspoon dried red pepper
Preparation
Step 1
Set a covered large pot of water over high-heat. When water boils, add salt and rotini. Stir. Cover and return to the boil. Uncover and boil, stirring occasionally, 6 minutes. Add broccoli. Cover and return to a boil. Cook 2 minutes, or until the pasta is al dente. Drain pasta and broccoli and return to the cooking pot. Add oil and toss. Add cheese and pepper; toss.
