Ingredients
- 2 teaspoons olive oil
- 1 lb lean ground turkey
- 1/2 cup onion, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup green pepper, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon prepared yellow mustard
- 3/4 cup gluten free ketchup
- 3 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon gluten free Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground pepper
- 4 gluten free hamburger rolls
Preparation
Step 1
1. In a large skillet brown ground turkey, onion and green pepper in olive oil for approximately 5-6 minutes. Drain off any grease.
2. Add turkey mixture to a greased 2.5 quart or 4 quart slow cooker. Add garlic powder, mustard, ketchup, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce salt and pepper.
3. Mix ingredients together and cook on low for 4 hours or on high for 2 hours.
4. Serve on hamburger rolls.
