Ingredients

  • 1 lb lentils
  • 8 cups water
  • celery chopped (add leaves and hearts)
  • 2 large carrots sliced and cubed
  • 29 oz tomato sauce
  • 2/3 cup olive oil
  • 1 large bay leaf
  • 5 cloves smashed garlic
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 packet of chicken boulian

Preparation

Step 1

combine all ingredients place on high heat until pot boils
lower to simmer and cook for a half an hour
