Ingredients
- 1 lb fresh water shrimp
- 3 tbs olive oil
- 3 tbs butter
- 1 clove chopped garlic
- Juice of 1 orange
- 1/2 cup of white wine
- 1/4 cup Anisette 0r 1 tbs anise seed
- salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
Step 1
Melt oil and butter in a pan.
Add garlic, add shrimp.
Stir fry for 3 minutes.
Remove shrimp from pan.
Add juice, wine, anise.
Cook over high heat until sauce reduces and thickens.
Remove from heat and return shrimp to pan.
Add salt and pepper.
Serve over rice.
