Ingredients

  • 2 lb. ground beef
  • ½ cup chopped onions
  • ½ cup chopped green pepper
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 - 8oz. can tomato sauce
  • 1 – 6 oz. can tomato paste
  • 1-cup water
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp oregano leaves
  • 1 tsp basil
  • 4 cups (8 oz.) Country Egg Noodles, cooked and drained
  • ½ cup chopped parsley
  • 1-cup salad dressing
  • 1 ½ cup (6 oz.) grated parmesan
  • 4 eggs, beaten (may leave yolks out)
  • 1-cup milk

Preparation

Step 1

Brown meat; drain. Add onion, green pepper and garlic; tender. Stir in tomato sauce, tomato paste, water and seasonings. Cover; simmer 15 minutes.
Combine noodles and parsley; toss lightly.
Combine salad dressing, 1 cup cheese, eggs and milk. Mix well. Layer noodles, salad dressing mixture and meat in 9” X 13” baking dish; top with remaining cheese. Bake at 350 degrees, for 25 minutes. Makes 12 servings.
