BILLS BEEF STEW

Ingredients

  • Add the following vegetables:
  • 2 pounds of stew meat (round steak, good lean cuts of beef) cut in 1 inch cubes
  • ¼ cup of flour
  • 1 ½ teaspoons salt
  • ½ teaspoon pepper
  • 1 ½ cups of beef broth
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 4 carrots, sliced
  • 3 potatoes, diced
  • 2 onions, chopped
  • 1 stalk celery, chopped
  • 2 teaspoons Kitchen Bouquet (optional)
  • Cabbage
  • Green Beans
  • Corn

Preparation

Step 1

Lightly sprinkle meat in flour and then brown in skillet. Put browned meat in crock pot; add remaining ingredients and stir to mix well. Cover and cook on low 10 to 12 hours or on high for 4 to 6 hours. Stir stew thoroughly before serving.
