Ingredients
- Add the following vegetables:
- 2 pounds of stew meat (round steak, good lean cuts of beef) cut in 1 inch cubes
- ¼ cup of flour
- 1 ½ teaspoons salt
- ½ teaspoon pepper
- 1 ½ cups of beef broth
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 4 carrots, sliced
- 3 potatoes, diced
- 2 onions, chopped
- 1 stalk celery, chopped
- 2 teaspoons Kitchen Bouquet (optional)
- Cabbage
- Green Beans
- Corn
Preparation
Step 1
Lightly sprinkle meat in flour and then brown in skillet. Put browned meat in crock pot; add remaining ingredients and stir to mix well. Cover and cook on low 10 to 12 hours or on high for 4 to 6 hours. Stir stew thoroughly before serving.
