Ingredients
- 8 CUPS SLICED APPLES
- 1/4 CUP FLOUR
- 1 TSP CINNAMON
- 1/2 CUP SUGAR
- 1/3 CUP BUTTER
- 1 TSP NUTMEG
Preparation
Step 1
HEAT OVEN TO 450 MIX FLOUR AND SUGAR AND OTHER DRY INGREDIENTS. STIR IN APPLES. PUT APPLE MIXTURE INTO PAN, PRESS DOWN FIRMLY, CUT IN BUTTER AND SPICE, ADD TOP LAYER OF CRUST BAKE FOR 10 MINUTES LOWER TEMP TO 350 AND COOK FOR ANOTHER 40 MINUTES.
