Ingredients
- Jerk sauce:
- 1 bunch green onions coarsley chopped (about 1 1/2 cups)
- 1 tbs chopped fresh thyme
- 2 habanero chilies chopped with seeds
- 1 garlic clove , peeled
- 1/2 cup (packed) golden brown sugar
- 1/2 cup veg oil
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1 tsp ground allspice
- Ground chicken
Preparation
Step 1
For Jerk sauce:
Finely chop first 4 ingredients in food processor. Add sugar & next 3 ingredients. Process until almost smooth. Season with salt & pepper
Shape chicken into patties. Place in baking dish. 20 min before grilling, remove from fridge & pour half of jerk sauce over patties & turn to coat. Let stand for 20 min.
Sprinkle patties with salt & pepper
