Ingredients
- Filling
- 6 cups fresh peaches, sliced
- 4 cups fresh bing cherries, pitted
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- 3 T lemon juice
- 1/4 cup water
- Top Crust
- 1/2 cup butter
- 2 cups flour
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 2 1/2 T baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 3/4 cup whipping cream
Preparation
Step 1
Filling
Mix sugar, cornstarch, lemon juice and water. Cook 1 minutes until slightly thickened. Toss with fresh fruit. Let stand 15 minutes. Place into 9x13" baking dish.
Top Crust
Mix crust ingredients and roll out 1/2" thick. Place on top of filling.
Mix 2 T sugar, 1/4 tsp cinnamon and 2 T whipping cream. Brush on top of crust.
Bake at 400 degrees for 35 - 45 minutes.
