Blond Breast of Chicken

Ingredients

  • 4 Tbsp. Butter
  • 1/2 cup dry white wine
  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 onion, minced
  • 1 cup sour cream

Preparation

Step 1

Saute in 4 Tbsp. butter 1 pkg. of chicken breasts. Turn, cooking slowly, until beginning to get tender. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Sprinkle white wine over chicken and cover and simmer until very tender (45 minutes - 1 hour).
Meantime, sauté onion in 1 Tbsp. butter. When tender, but not brown, stir in sour cream. Heat, but don't boil.
Pour over chicken.
Serve hot with brown, wild or white rice
