German Rice Pudding

Ingredients

  • 1/2 c rice
  • 2 c boiling water
  • 3 c milk
  • 1/2 c sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • cinnamon

Preparation

Step 1

Cook the rice in the boiling water for about 5 min. Add milk, and simmer for 20 min. Add sugar and salt, and continue to simmer until mixture becomes creamy about 12-15 min Remove from heat, and add vanilla. Sprinkle with cinnamon
