CREAM HEARTS

  • 1 c soft butter
  • 1/3 c whipping cream
  • 2 c flour
  • granulated sugar

Preparation

Step 1

Mix butter, cream and flour. Cover and chill. Heat oven to 375. Roll 1/3 of dough at a time 1/8” thick on floured surface. Cut into 1 ½ circles or hearts. Transfer to piece of waxed paper covered with sugar; turn so each is coated with sugar. Prick with fork 4 times. Bake 7-9 minutes. Put together with filling:
¼ c soft butter, ¾ c 10X sugar, 1 tsp vanilla. Tint with food coloring. Add water if necessary.
