Bbq pulled pork

Ingredients

  • 1 pork shoulder roast, about 2 1/2 lbs
  • 1 bottle bbq sauce (14oz)
  • 1 t fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp brown sugar
  • 1 md onion, chopped
  • 8 rolls

Preparation

Step 1

1) place roast in slow cooker. cover and cook low 10-12 hours or 5-6 hours on high

2) remove from pot and discard liquid. shred with forks and return to cooker. add bbq, lemon brown sugar and onion. cover and cook 2 hours low or 1 hour high

3) serve shredded pork on rolls


note: if doubling recipe: only increase bbq sauce to 21oz
