Breakfast French Toast

Ingredients

  • 6 tbs. peanut butter
  • 6 tbs. mixed-berry jam
  • 12 slices egg bread, like challah
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 tbs. raspberry liqueur
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract

Preparation

Step 1

Spread peanut butter and jam on 6 bread slices; top with remaining bread

In pie dish, whisk together last 5 ingredients. Dip each sadwich in egg mixture, turning to coat.

In greased skillet over medium heat, cook sandwiches until golden, turning once. Dust with powdered sugar and serve with maple syrup, if desired.
