Lemon Cake with Cream Cheese Filling

Ingredients

  • 1 lemon cake mix
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/3 c. oil
  • 1 c. water
  • Mix until well blended and smooth
  • 1 (8 oz) pkg. cream cheese
  • 1 T. cornstarch
  • 2 T. butter
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 2 T. milk
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

Mix until smooth. Place half of cake mix in greased 9x13 pan. Put all filling evenly over cake mix. Add remaining half of cake mix. Bake at 350 for 45 min. Sour cream frosting works best on top.
