Ingredients
- 1 1/2 c Bisquick
- 1/2 c cornmeal
- 1/2 c cold water
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1-4 oz green chilies, seeded and chopped
- 1 1/4 oz taco seasoning mix
- 3/4 c water
- 1-16 oz refried beans
- 1 1/2 c shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 c shredded lettuce
- 2 tomatoes, chopped
- 1/2 c chopped onion
Preparation
Step 1
Heat oven to 425. Mix baking mix, cornmeal and 1/2 c water til soft dough forms. Roll or pat into a 12" circle on ungreased pan. Bake 10 minutes. Cook and stir ground beef til browned, drain. Stir in chilies, seasoning mix and 3/4 c water. Heat to boiling, reduce heat and simmer until thickened 5 to 10 minutes. Spread beans over crust and top with beef mixture and sprinkle with cheese. Bake 10 minutes. Top with lettuce, tomatoes and onions. Serve with taco sauce.
