Ingredients
- 1 Baked 9" pie shell
- 1 1/4 c. sugar
- 6 TBLS.cornstarch
- 2 c. water
- 1/3 c. lemon juice
- 3 egg yolks
- 1 1/2 tsp. lemon extract
- 2 tsp.white vinegar
- 3 TBLS. butter
Preparation
Step 1
Mix cornstarch and sugar together in a double boiler. Add 2 c. water combine egg yolks with lemon juice and beat until mixed . Add to sugar mixture cook until thick . remove from heat add lemon extract, butter, and vinegar and mix well . Pour in cooled pie crust
