Stuffed Party Mushrooms

  • 2 lbs whole fresh mushrooms
  • 1 carton (8oz) spreadable garden vegetable cream cheese
  • 4 oz imitation crabmeat, chopped
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar, divided
  • 2 T mayo
  • 1/4 t salt
  • 1/8 t pepper

Preparation

Step 1

Remove stems from mushrooms and finely chop 1/4 cup; set caps aside. Beat cream cheese until smooth. Stir in chopped stems, crab, 1/4 cup cheddar cheese, mayo, salt and pepper. Spoon 2 t into each mushroom cap. Place on foil lined baking sheet; sprinkle with remaining cheese. Bake at 350 for 15-18 minutes.
