Tortellini with Italian Sasage Fennel and Mushrooms

Ingredients

  • 1 tblspoon evoo
  • 1 large fennel bulb trimmed halved through core . Thinly sliced
  • 1 lb spicy sasage coarsly crumbled
  • 1 8 oz sliced baby bella mushrooms
  • 4 large garlic cloves
  • 1 tablespoon fennel seeds. Coarsly crushed
  • 1/2 c heavy whipping creame
  • 1 c chicken broth low salt
  • 1 16 oz pack of tortellini
  • 1 5 oz pack baby spinach
  • 1/2 cup finely grated parm cheese

Preparation

Step 1

Heat oil large skillet
add sas fennel and mush and cook for 15 min
add garlic fennel
stir in cream
add broth
boil 2 minutes
cook tort seperately
add sas to tort pot
add spinach
stir in cheese
add more broth to moisten
