Golden Glazed Flank Steak

Ingredients

  • 1 envelope Lipton onion soup mix
  • 1 jar (12 oz.) apricot preserves
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 flank steak (about 2 pounds), cut into thin strips
  • 2 medium green, red, or yellow bell peppers, cut into thin vertical slices
  • hot cooked rice

Preparation

Step 1

1.Heat the broiler. In a small bowl, combine the soup mix, apricot preserves, and water. Mix well. In a large shallow baking pan, arrange the steak and bell peppers. Spoon the soup mixture evenly on top. Broil, turning once, until the steak is done to taste, about 4-5 minutes per side. Serve over hot rice.
