Ingredients
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1/4 t garlic powder
- 2 T butter
- 1/4 t white pepper
- dash salt
- 1-1/4 cups half and half
- 3 medium potatoes, thinly sliced
- 1 cup ham, large dice

Method:
Grease a 1-1/2-quart casserole dish or heatproof glass bowl. Cube ham. Heat half and half in microwave safe measuring cup. Sauté onion in butter until tender but not browned. Stir in flour, salt and pepper. Add the hot half and half all at once and whisk over medium heat until thickened and bubbly.
Thinly slice potatoes. Place half of potatoes in prepared casserole dish. Top with cubed ham. Cover with half of the sauce. Cover with remaining sliced potatoes and sauce.
Cover top of casserole dish with tin foil. Pour 1-1/2 cups water into pressure cooker. Place casserole dish on rack in the pressure cooker. Secure lid and bring to pressure. Cook for 18 to 20 minutes.
Cool for 5 minutes and then cool completely under cold water. Remove dish carefully and serve.
