Ingredients
- 1 \2 cup beans (any type)
- 2 cups water
- 1 tsp. Shortening
- 1 \2 salt
- 2 eggs
- 1 \2 cup sugar
- 1 \4 cup butter, melted
- 1 \2 cup Syrup
- 1 \2 cup raisins
- 24 unbaked tart shells
Preparation
Step 1
Add beans to 1 cup water and BRI g to boil for 2 min. Remove from heat and let stand covered for 1 hour. Drain. Add 1 cup Water, shortening,& salt. Simmer covered until soft, about 1 hour. Drain, mash. Beat together eggs, sugar, and butter. Blend in beans and syrup. Place a few raisins in bottom of each shell. Cover with filling being careful not to overfill. Bake 20 min at 350F.
