Ingredients
- 1 1/2 Cups butter, softened
- 8 Oz. Asiago cheese, shredded (2 Cups)
- 1 1/4 Cups walnuts, finely chopped
- 3/4 Cup raisins, finely chopped
- 1/2 Tsp white pepper
- 4 Cups all purpose flour
- 1 10Oz pack Hidden Valley Ranch dressing mix
Preparation
Step 1
In a large bowl combine butter, cheese, walnuts, raisins & pepper.
Beat with mixer until combined.
In a separate bowl mix flour and dressing mix.
Add to wet ingredients a little at a time until combined.
Divide dough into three portions.
Shape each portion into a log about 8" long.
Roll each log in ground black pepper.
Wrap in plastic wrap & freeze until firm enough to slice.
Cut into 1/4" slices and bake @ 350° about 10 minutes or until lightly browned.
