RICE

Ingredients

  • For 3 cups cooked rice:
  • 1 C. rice
  • 2 C. water
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • For 4 cups cooked rice:
  • 1 1/3 C. rice
  • 2 2/3 C. water
  • 1 tsp. salt

Preparation

Step 1

In a sauce pan combine rice, water and salt. Bring to a boil and stir. Reduce heat to a simmer; cover pan and cook 14 minutes. Do not lift lid or stir. Remove pan from heat. Fluff rice with fork; cover and let steam 5 to 10 minutes.
