Ingredients
- 1/2 C COLD BUTTER
- 1 YELLOW CAKE MIX
- 1 21OZ CAN CHERRY PIE FILLING
- 1/2 C CHOPPED WALNUTS
- COOL WHIP OR ICE CREAM
Preparation
Step 1
IN LARGE BOWL, CUT BUTTER INTO CAKE MIX UNTIL CRUMBLY. SET ASIDE I C FOR TOPPING. PAT REMAINING CRUMBS ONTO BOTTOM AND SIDES OF GREASED 9X13 PAN.
SPREAD PIE FILLING OVER CRUST. COMBINE WALNUTS WITH RESERVED CRUMBS, SPRINKLE OVER TOP.
BAKE AT 350* FOR 30-35 MINUTES. SERVE WARM WITH COOL WHIP OR ICE CREAM IF DESIRED.
