Royal Icing for Drop Flowers

Ingredients

  • 3 level Tbsp. Meringue powder
  • 4 cups sifted 10x confectioners' sugar
  • 5-6 Tbsp. water

Preparation

Step 1

NOTE: Be sure mixing bowl and all utensils are grease free. Any trace of grease breaks down the icing! DO NOT using a pastry bag that has ever been used with regular buttercream icing.

Mix all ingredients in a small bowl.

Beat at low speed for 7-10 mins. (10-12 mins for a portable mixer) until the icing forms peaks.

Store royal icing in a glass jar at room temperature.
