Ingredients
- 29 oz. pumpkin
- 1 1/2 c sugar
- 2 t. cinnamon
- 1/2 t. ginger
- 1 t. nutmeg
- 12 oz. evaporated milk
- 3 eggs, well beaten
- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1 c. walnuts, chopped
- 1 c. margarine, melted
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350º. Grease and flour a 9” x 13” inch cake pan. In a large bowl mix pumpkin, sugar, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, milk and eggs. Pour mixture into the prepared pan. On top of the mixture pour the dry cake mix. On top of the cake mix spread the walnuts. On top of the walnuts, drizzle with melted margarine. Bake at 350º for 1 hour or until done. Top with cool whip to serve.
