PICKLED BEETS (MOM MAPLE)

Ingredients

  • 2 C SUGAR
  • 2 CINNAMON STICKS
  • 1 TBL WHOLE ALLSPICE
  • 1 1/2 TSP SALT
  • 1 1/2 TSP VINEGAR
  • 1 1/2 C WATER

Preparation

Step 1

HEAT INGREDIENTS TO BOIL. PACK HOT BEETS INTO JARS AND POUR OVER TO FILL JAR TO NECK PUT ON LID AND RING AND HOT BATH FOR 25 MINUTES. COVER OVERNIGHT TO SEAL. DO NOT TOUCH FOR 24 HOURS.
