PEANUT BRITTLE

Ingredients

  • 2 C SUGAR
  • 1 C LIGHT KARO
  • 1 C WATER
  • 3/4 LBS BLANCHED PEANUTS
  • GREASED COOKIE SHEET

Preparation

Step 1

COMBINE COOK TILL 250 DEGREES.
ADD THE 3/4 LBS BLANDCHED PEANUTS

STIR TILL 290 DEGREES TURN OFF HEAT AND ADD 1 TSP BAKING SODA AND 1 TSP VANILLLA.

STIR QUICKLY POUR ONTO GREASED COOKIE SHEET AND SET TO COOL.


AFTER COOL CRACK APART INTO PIECES.
