Mexican Lasagna

Mexican beef topping on layered potato.

Ingredients

  • 6 Potatoes, medium
  • 1 lb lean Ground Beef
  • 1 Green Pepper
  • 1 Onion
  • 3 cloves Garlic
  • 1 can Stewed Tomatoes
  • Mushrooms, sliced (optional)
  • Chili Powder
  • Cayenne Pepper
  • Cumin
  • Butter or Margarine

Preparation

Step 1

Brown ground beef
Add chopped green pepper, onion, mushrooms (optional) and garlic.
Season with chili powder, cumin and cayenne pepper.

Grease baking pan with butter or margarine.

Thinly slice potatoes. Layer in baking pan. Add flour, garlic salt, chili powder, cumin and cayenne pepper between layers.

Add topping.

Bake at 400
