Cheese Dip

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 teaspoon mustard
  • pepper to taste

Preparation

Step 1

1. In medium sauce pan, melt butter.
2. Mix in flour and salt. Stir continually until mixture is simmering.
3. Slowly add milk to mixture. Continue stirring over medium heat until mixture thickens.
4. Stir in cheese and mustard.
5. Continue stirring until cheese is melted and dip is smooth.
