Sweet Peanut Soup

This Chinese dessert not only can be served with fried Chinese bread but also yum served on its own.

Ingredients

  • 350 gr raw blanched peanut,
  • 75 gr sugar or to taste,
  • 1 cm ginger peeled and crushed,
  • bit of salt
  • 1500 ml water

Preparation

Step 1

Put all ingredients in pressure cooker, cook for about 40 minutes. The peanut should be melt-in-your mouth when it cooked.

If you don't use pressure cooker,you definitely more time to cook. Soak for one night, and cook for about 2-3 hours in low heat, cook until very tender. It's worthwhile for the melt in your mouth peanut soup ^_^
