Easy Pot Roast

Ingredients

  • 2.5 to 3 lb Top Round Roast
  • 4 tbsp. butter
  • 2 beef boullion cubes
  • Water

Preparation

Step 1

1. Melt butter in large pan (enough to hold the roast.)

2. Sear all sides of the roast (approx. 2 minutes per side). The butter will burn and that's a good thing!

3. Pour 2 cups of water over meat. Add bouillon cubes. Cover and simmer for 2 hours.
