Ingredients
- CAKE
- 1 (3 oz) box Lemon Jell-O
- 1 cup hot water
- 1 (18 1/4 oz) box lemon cake mix
- 3/4 cup oil
- 4 eggs
- FROSTING
- 4 cups powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 1 tsp grated lemon zest
- 2 tbsp milk
Preparation
Step 1
CAKE
Dissolve Jell-O in hot water until clear. Mix cake mix, oil and Jell-O mixture together. Add eggs one at a time. Pour into lightly greased 9 X 13 pan. Bake at 350 degees for 35 minutes.
LEMON BUTTER FROSTING
Beat powdered sugar, butter, lemon juice, and lemon zest until smooth.
Beat in milk and increase speed, continuing to beat until light and fluffy.
